Rates

Taxes and fees are included in the price, except for cases where local airport taxes are accrued, which are then charged upon check-in.

Flexible La Première and Affaires rates (First Class and Business Class) are valid for one year and you can change or cancel your tickets free of charge.

Attractive rates for La Première and Affaires ((First Class and Business Class) are subject to certain conditions, such as advance booking periods and maximum stay etc. Changes made to bookings and cancellations of bookings are generally restricted and fees are charged for these.

Attractive Premium Voyageur rates rates (the class of travel between Business and Economy Class) are available on long-haul flights, on flights to Europe, North Africa (exception: Algiers) and Israel. Premium Voyageur passengers enjoy preferential check-in and a baggage allowance of 30 kg, as is the case in Business Class.

Flexible rates in Voyageur (Economy Class) allow you to travel in a flexible manner. Rates are valid for one year and the tickets can be changed or cancelled free of charge with Air France.

Attractive rates in Voyageur Voyageur (Economy Class) are offered according to availability for the chosen destinations, flights and dates.
These are subject to special conditions for changes in the booking or cancellations made prior to departure from Germany. Certain rates do not allow either changes in the booking or refunds. You will receive more detailed information during the online booking.

Please note: no reductions for children/infants are granted for certain attractive rates.

Baggage regulations

The baggage allowance is
You travel in Voyageur (Economy Class): 1 item of baggage, weighing maximum 23 kg
You travel in Premium Voyageur (Economy Class): 2 baggage items of maximum 23 kg each
You travel in Affaires (Business Class): 3 baggage items of maximum 23 kg each
You travel in La Premiere (First Class): 3 baggage items of maximum 23 kg each

Additional baggage allowance for Flying Blue Elite members:
Are you a Flying Blue member (Silver, Gold, or Platinum) or a Skyteam Elite or Elite Plus cardholder? To thank you for your loyalty, we offer you the option to check an additional baggage item weighing up to a maximum of 23 kg.

If your baggage exceeds the above weight or if you wish to bring an additional item of baggage with you, excess baggage charges shall apply and these must be settled during check-in.

With immediate effect, passengers can purchase excess baggage at more affordable rates, if they check in online at www.airfrance.com.

Excess baggage rates during online check-in are 20% cheaper than the rates that are charged at the airport.

Ticket service charge when booking online

All flights that are booked at www.airfrance.de include taxes, fees and 0 Euro Ticket Service charges. The ticket service charge is non-refundable.

Internet bookings

At www.airfrance.de you can make a reservation up to 12 hours (e-ticket) before departure or 8 days for certain destinations and as early as 10 months prior to departure. If you wish to fly in the next 24 hours, please contact our call centre:

You can make your reservations for flights from the following 11 German airports: Berlin, Bremen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Leipzig, Munich, Münster/Osnabrück, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.

You can make a maximum of two bookings for a maximum number of 9 persons (infants below the age of two do not count as a person). Every infant must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over.

A prerequisite for making a booking on our internet site is that you are in possession of an international credit card, which was issued in Germany. A maximum number of two bookings per day can be made using the same credit card.

Your reservation will be stored as soon as you enter your credit card number or your method of payment and press “confirm”.

You must follow all stages of the booking process until you see the message “flight confirmed” and obtain your booking reference number. Please write down this number carefully. As soon as you have finished booking you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

If you have not provided a credit card number or method of payment, you will be shown availabilities and rates without reserving a place.

Methods of payment

Payment can only be made for your tickets using the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard, MasterCard, UATP Air Plus or Visa. The cardholder must be 18 years of age or over and must be one of the members of the travelling party. Payment will be taken in Euros. A maximum number of two bookings can be made per day using the same credit card.

1. Credit Card
Payment can be made for your tickets using the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard, MasterCard, UATP Air Plus or Visa. The cardholder must be 18 years of age or over and must be one of the members of the traveling party. Payment will be taken in Euros. A maximum number of two bookings can be made per day using the same credit card. When paying with credit card a surcharge of € 15 applies per passenger. This surcharge is non refundable.

2. Online-Banking
Alternatively you can pay your Ticket with so called „Real Time Online Banking" (RTOB) method without additional charges for payment. We offer payment via Sofortüberweisung or iDEAL.
Online-Banking can not be offered for the following purchases:
- booking with voucher
- booking with ancillary products (e.g. rental car)
- booking with „Time to Think"-Option

3. Direct Debit
Furthermore you also have the possibility of payment via direct debit (one time allowance). Direct Debit is only available for customers with German bank accounts and for bookings latest 14 days before departure. The booking person has to be the owner of the bank account. No additional charges apply for this method of payment.
In case of return debit note due to wrong indication of bank details or due to insufficient coverage of your account, it is Air Frances right to claim a return debit charge as long as you can not prove no damage or limited damage is caused by the return debit.
Direct Debit can not be offered for the following purchases:
- booking with voucher
- booking with ancillary products (e.g. rental car)
- booking with „Time to Think"-Option

4. Telephone reservation
Or you can by your ticket at our reservations department via phone: 01805 830 830 (EUR 0.14/min. from a German landline, mobile tariffs max EUR 0.42 per minute) and pay for your ticket by credit card or bank transfer.

5. Additional Information
Direct Online Banking and Direct Debit will be collected by our partner KLM (www.klm.com) on behalf of Air France.

Ticket service

E-TICKET (Electronic ticket)

1. Book your ticket up to 12 hours prior to departure. The e-ticket will be automatically issued after making your booking.
2. You will receive a confirmation of your booking by e-mail, as well as an itinerary containing the details of your booking. When making bookings to some destinations, the issuing of electronic tickets may take several working days. These tickets can only be booked online up to 8 days before departure. If this applies to your destination, you will be informed upon making your online booking.
3. Check-in made easy: online check-in: check in in the comfort of your own home from 30 hours prior to departure up until check-in closes.
Check-in machine: select your seat and print out your boarding card.
Check-in desk: show your passport here in order to obtain your boarding pass.

Cancellations and changes

If you would like to change or cancel your booking access "Meine Buchungen" on our homepage or telephone Air France on 0180 5 830 830 (€0.14/min from a German landline, mobile phone rates may vary). Depending on the rate, cancellation charges or alteration fees may apply.However, no additional ticket service charge will be made.
For ticket changes (except flexible tickets), a processing fee of 15, - € incurred. For ticket refunds, a fee of 20, - € incurred.

Order of use of flight coupons

The booked itinerary is an essential component of the air transport agreement. Changes made to the departure or destination airport for the journey by the passenger (e.g. if he/she does not use the first coupon) may result in a change in the rate that applies. Many rates only apply for the dates and flights specified on the ticket. If necessary, you can change these by paying a supplementary rate.
