Zoom Out Festival

Founded in 2007, in just 10 years, the Zoom Out Festival has become a key event for cinema heritage in France.

The aim of the festival is to encourage the widest possible audience to (re)discover the incredible diversity of film, such as cinema classics, but also rarities from the archives, restored films and the treasures of film libraries.

For its 10th anniversary, the 2016 edition will explore the topic of film restoration. Through screenings, live music and film events, talks and exhibits, the festival will examine the stories behind restored works, with explanations from distinguished guests. In keeping with the festivals philosophy, this edition will be held not only in Toulouse and its suburbs, but also in the department of the Haute-Garonne and throughout the region.

*As is the case each year, the festival will announce a new theme in early 2016 on the website of the Cinémathèque de Toulouse.

From the 1st to the 10th of April 2016
